Academic Resources
At the Wellness Center, the staff will develop and implement individual academic plans for each student Pathways has both live (traditional) classes and self-paced curriculum offered through Edmentum virtual learning. In some cases, students may even be able to stay in their current live courses at their high schools while attending Pathways.
The Wellness Center will offer built-in accommodations such as:
- Individualized education programs (IEPs)
- One-on-one tutoring
- Smaller classrooms
- Self-paced workload
- Elimination of peer competition
- Streamlined, flexible & hybrid coursework
Courses will include the full range of core curriculum, honors, college preparatory and elective classes. Teachers will work with parents, students and school counselors to design an individualized program of study that best supports each child's unique educational goals without compromising the therapeutic goals of the Wellness Center. The goal of every Pathways student is to transition back to their high schools back on academic track.
